Abstract

The aim of this research was to increase the environmental attitude in science subject through implementation the used of Problem Based Learning in fourth grades of state primary school Musuk 1 Boyolali at 2018/2019 academic year. The research focus are teacher and student, totally 30 students. The kind of this research is a classroom action research was conducted in three cycles. The data was collected using techniques of debriefing, observation, questionnaire, also documentation. Data’s been validated with triangulation. Data analysis used in this study was technical analysis of Miles and Hubberman’s interactive analysis. The research showed an increased in environmental attitude. In pre-cycle, resulting in a percentage of 20% reaches the passing grade. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 33% reaches the passing grade in classical terms, the second cycle resulting a percentage of 60% reaches the passing grade and the third cycle resulting in a percentage of 83% reaches the passing grade in classical terms. Based on these result, it could be concluded that the used of Problem Based Learning models increased environmental in fourth grades of state primary school Musuk 1 Boyolali at 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract: The research purposed to increase the students ability especially in understanding of using spelling and punctuation on students class III SD Negeri Tegalsari No 60 Surakarta by complete sentence method and to describe the learning process with the method was proven able to increase the students ability of using spelling and punctuation in writing simple essay on students class II SD Negeri Tegalsari No 60 Surakarta Student Year 2018/2019. The subject of this research was students class III SD Negeri Tegalsari No 60 Surakarta. They were amounts 23 students. The form of this research was Classroom Action Research within somecycles. The data was collected by test and observation. The test was used to measure the ability of using spelling and punctuation and the observation was used to measure teacher perform and student activity. The data was also analysed by using interactive data analysis. The result showed that complete sentence mehtod was proven able to improve the ability of using spelling and punctuatuion in writing simple essay on students class III SD Negeri Tegalsari No 60 Surakarta. It was proven by the grade average in the first cycle and second cycle always improved. The first cylce was only 13 (56,51%) from 23 students who passed the minimum ≥ 66. The highest grade was 88, the lowest grade was 40, and the grade average was≥66 in the first cycle. In the second cyle, the grade increased. Amounts 16 students (78,267%) could pass the test and get grade ≥66. The highest grade was 90, the lowest grade was 58, and the grade average was 73,28 in the second cycle.Keywords: Complete Sentence Method, The Cognitive Ability in understanding of using spelling and punctuation, elementary school

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a single case study approach. This research was conducted because there are many errors in handwriting skills. This study aims is to analyze errors in handwriting skills in 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Tunggulsari 1 No. 72 Surakarta academic year 2018/2019. The sample is determined by purposive sampling technique with certain considerations and objectives. The research data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation which were then analyzed based on indicators. Error analysis is carried out based on indicators of writing error and the aspect. The results of this study found that writing errors consist of letter formation errors, spacing errors between letters and words, slant consistency errors, size and proportion, legibility, and neatness of handwriting by 2nd grade students. The most mistake is found in the formation, size and propotion, and also the error of spacing between letters and words. While errors in legibility, neatness and consistency of writing slant are rarely found in the work of students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve problem solving skills of circumference and area of plane object’s stories matter for third grade students of Mojosongo II No. 177 Elementary School in 2018/2019 academic year by applying Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristic. This research consisted of two cycles, each cycle includes two learnings. Subject and data source in this reaserch were teacher and student of third grade Mojosongo II No. 177 Elementary School. Interviews, observations, tests, and document analysis is this research datas collection. This research uses descriptive comparative analysis techniques and interactive analysis techniques. Source triangulation and technical triangulation used for data validity. Classical completeness of students in initial condition was 3.57%, in first cycle showed 46.43%. then in second cycle showed 82.14%.Keywords: circumference and area of plane object’s stories matter, Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristic, problem solving skills, elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student motivation by implementation of Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model on multiplication and division learning. The type of this research is class action research that consist of 3 cycles. The subject of this research is 32 students of 2nd grade of SDN Prawit I No.69. Data collection techniques are conducted by questioner, observation, and interview. Data analysis technique that used  is interactive analysis that consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification. To determine the result of student learning motivation, this research used source and method triangulation. The result of this research shows that multiplication and division learning motivation of the students are increase. First cycle result is classical pass percentage reach 37.5%, it increase at second cycle become 68.75%, and in the last cycle reach 84.38%. Based on the data analysis result, the conclusion of this research is Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model can improve multiplication and division learning motivation of 2nd grade student of SDN Prawit I No.69 in the academic year of 2017/2018. Implication of Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model was conducted by five steps. They are class presentation, teams, games, tournament, and team recognition.Key word: Multiplication and Division Learning Motivation, Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Learning Model

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this research are improve problem solving skills mathematic in stories matter of plane geometry by applyying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research in Classroom Action Research with three cycles. The subject of this research were students of III class at SD N 1 Kedaleman Wetan Kebumen in the 2018/2019 academic year, totalling 26 students. The research uses data collection techniques were interview, observations, tests, and documentation. The data analysis in this research are source trangulation, technique triangulation, and content validity. Result of thorough were in the intitial conditions of problem solving skills of III class students showed 15,38% clasically. The first cycle began with the first learning resulting in a percentage of 26,93% in classial, the second learning was 42,31% in classical. The second cycle began with the first learning resulting in a percentage of 53,85% in classical, the second learning was 61,54% in classical. The study continued with third cycle with the percentage of  achivement at the first learning amounting 76,92% in classical, and the second learning was 88,46% in classical terms.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims is to improve the students listening of folklore skill with model Think Pair Share and media audio in 4th grade students of SDN Selomulyo Sleman academic year 2018/2019. This research is a classroom action research conducted three cycles. Each cycle consist of four stage. The research data was collected through interviews, observation, test, and documentation. Data validity are using triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. Data analysis technique used was descriptive of comparative and interactive model. The researcher used five indicator to know the level of students listening of folklore skill. That all instrinsic elements, text comprehension, main problem, text organizaion, and problem solving. The results shows that classical completeness on pre-action is 7,69%, increase on cycle I by 43,21% ,increase on cycle II by 69,23% , and increase again in cycle III by 88,46%. Based on the result, the conclusion is the application of model Think Pair Share and media audio can improve the students listening of folklore skill on 4th grade students of SDN Selomulyo Sleman academic year 2018/2019.Keywords : Think Pair Share, media audio, students listening of folklore skil, elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve problem solving the skills of data interpretation through the use of the team assisted individualization type cooperative learning  model in fifth grade students of SD N Kemasan 2 No. 248 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and 5th grade students, amounting to 28 students. This study uses observational techniques, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis using interactive data analysis with steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity test technique uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that the average score of pre-action class with 14.% classical completeness increased to 43% classical completeness in the 1st cycle,  increased with a classical completeness of 60.71% in cycle II. and increased again with a classical completeness of 89.29% in cycle III. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of the team assisted individualization type cooperative learning  model can improve the problem solving the skills of data interpretation in class V SD N Kemasan 2 No. 248 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

Abstract. A purpose of this research is for intensify an understanding of concepts at the energy sources by applying learning models Auditory, Intellectually and Repetition for students in class IV of SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98 Surakarta. This study used classroom action research on 3 cycles that every cycles consisted of 4 innings composed  of planning, implementation, observation, & reflection. Subject from this reseacrh are students and teacher in class IV SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98 Surakarta as many 30 students. The reseachers as preceptor on this reseacrh. Data from this study is collect by teacher and students through surveilance, debriefing, documentation, & test. Data is validated by using content validity, source & technique triangulations. Data analyzed by using interactive analysis from Milles and Huberman and comparative descriptive. Abstract

Peningkatan pemahaman konsep keragaman budaya masyarakat Indonesia dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran meaningful instructional design (mid) pada peserta didik kelas V  sekolah dasar. Peningkatkan diukur melalui hasil tes evaluasi pemahaman konsep keragamab budaya masyarakat Indonesia dengan indikator keberhasilan sebesar 83,88 % atau 24 dari 31 peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM (>75).
